To effectively enhance the safety management of museums during the summer and flood season and provide a safe and comfortable visiting environment for the public, recently, the Linxia Global Geopark Museum, in collaboration with the Linxia City Museum, carried out a comprehensive safety hazard inspection and drill for the summer and flood season.

This inspection and drill covered all exhibition halls, power distribution rooms, visitor service centers, and office areas of the Linxia Global Geopark Museum. A thorough inspection was conducted in a meticulous manner to identify all potential safety hazards. Special attention was paid to the smoke alarm systems, evacuation routes, electrical circuits and wires, power sockets, lighting equipment, security access control systems, and the operation of surveillance systems in each exhibition hall. A comprehensive inspection and maintenance were also carried out on fire extinguishers, fire hydrants, and fire alarm systems. Additionally, dedicated personnel were assigned to check the roof waterproofing and drainage systems to ensure they were unobstructed. Any identified issues were promptly recorded and immediate rectification was arranged. After the inspection, the logistics support staff conducted drills on the operation and use of fire-fighting equipment and fire extinguishing.

Through this inspection and drill activity, the safety management mechanism and emergency response plan of the Linxia Global Geopark Museum have been further improved. The safety awareness of the staff has been strengthened, and potential safety hazards have been promptly eliminated, laying a solid foundation for the efficient conduct of various science popularization activities during the summer.
