At the starting line of the 2025 Hezheng Half Marathon in Linxia, the opening dance Bloom by the Prefectural Ethnic Song and Dance Troupe ignited the enthusiasm of the entire audience, with dancers leaping like blooming flowers in full bloom. Dancer Gou Yingying expressed her hope that the runners would "shine brilliantly like the dance". Later, the male chorus Run resonated with the heartbeats of the runners, and the performances of Hua'er Medley and Gaiwan Tea integrated the friendship of Linxia into the stage, winning cheers from the entire audience.
A day before the race, the Linxia Olympic Sports Center was already bustling with excitement. During the warm-up activities organized by the Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, the welcoming drumbeats resonated powerfully in all directions, the youth flash mob attracted passers-by to stop and watch, and the Hua'er IP dolls became the highlight for taking group photos. The intangible cultural heritage (ICH) exhibition area was more like a temple of art: the vivid carved gourds, the simple and unadorned Hezhou, the exquisite egg carvings and the mysterious archaic painted pottery all kept visitors lingering.
When the athletes arrived at the Luojiaji Service Area, the place had been transformed into an "Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) Cultural Post". The Yangko fan dance team cheered enthusiastically for them, and the ICH cultural and creative products were dazzling. At the finish line of the fun run, dancers in ethnic costumes welcomed the finishers with Hua'er songs and dances.
From the warm-up at the starting point to the ICH exhibition and then to the welcome at the finish line, the event wove a flowing "Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) Corridor". Zhang Tuo, an athlete from Lanzhou, sighed, "This is not just a test of physical strength, but also a cultural journey." When running meets ICH, this event has become a showcase of cultural soft power. Linxia's culture and sports empower each other, playing a harmonious movement of tradition and modernity during the run, and letting the world hear the heartbeat of Linxia's cultural confidence.
